Day One at the Plastics Recycling Conference 2026
Today marked the first day of the Plastics Recycling Conference here in San Diego, and it was a strong start.
The conversations were practical and focused. PCR mandates, EPR rollout, supply consistency, and processing challenges are top of mind for manufacturers and recyclers alike. There’s a clear shift happening in the industry — less theory, more implementation.
Our team spent the day connecting with processors, engineers, and project managers who are actively working to improve efficiency and reliability inside their facilities.
Real Conversations About Real Challenges
What stood out most today was the focus on execution. Companies aren’t just talking about sustainability goals. They’re talking about equipment performance, material variability, dust control, throughput, and compliance requirements.
That’s where we fit in.
MIXSYS solutions — including our Fabric Silos and mixing technology — are designed to support recycling operations that need dependable material handling and consistent process performance.
The interest around storage flexibility and controlled material flow has been strong, especially for operations managing recycled resins and variable feedstocks.
Booth #830
Our booth has been busy, and it’s been great putting faces to names. If you’re attending the conference, stop by Booth #830. We’ll be here through the 25th and ready to talk through your current process challenges.
We’re here to have a straightforward conversation about what works!
