The Food Grade Paddle Mixer 30 ft³ Capacity, is an extra-reinforced batch paddle mixer designed for consistent, high-performance blending in industrial production processes. With a maximum usable capacity of 30 ft³ (850 liters), it is built to efficiently mix dry and semi-moist materials while maintaining uniform product quality.

• Maximum usable loading capacity 30 ft 3 (850 liters)

• 1 N° DN300 circular loading inlet with flange;

• 1 N° DN200 circular loading inlet with flange;

• 1 N° venting door DN200 with flange;

  • 1 N° Bombay discharge door reconstructing the circularity of the mixing chamber, with a 60° opening along the entire length of the chamber, complete with two (2) pneumatic cylinders equipped with bistable solenoid valves.

• 1 N° inspection door complete with accident prevention block.

• Cylindrical Mixer wall

• Self-supporting lateral heads with lifting eyebolts

• Material of Construction:

o Mixer wall: AISI 304

o Full Solid End Plates: AISI 304

o Solid rotor shaft: AISI 304

• Mixing tools: PALAMIX and oversized scrapers welded to the rotor shaft

• Welding quality control by testing liquids penetrating the rotor and mixing tools (suitable test to identify microporosity)

• Stainless steel external bolts on the mixing chamber, the remaining in galvanized carbon steel

• Main Drive Motor with the following characteristics:

o Compact orthogonal gear flanged to the mixer; NORD brand

o Non-food Gear oil

o Three-phase Seipee Brand asynchronous electric motor 50 HP (37kW) - 480V - 60Hz - 4 poles

o Forced-vent fan motor (motor suitable for installation under inverter; inverter supplied by others)

• 2 N° Air flowing rotor shaft seals with the following characteristics:

o Anti-wear bushing to protect the rotor shaft in "Diamond Like Carbon" DLC

o Food Grade bronze diffuser

o Seal body in AISI 304

o Packing Gland divided into 2 halves in AISI 304


• 2 N° Side choppers predisposition with blank flange. Chopper(s) can be provided at an additional cost.

• 2 N° Liquid Nozzle Predispositions closed with blank flanges. Nozzle Predispositions and nozzles can be provided at an additional cost

• 1 N° Predisposition closed with blank flange for OPTIONAL pneumatic product sampler for retrieving samples while in process

• Auxiliaries: 24V DC

• Surface finish

o Internal parts in AISI = "V95" satin finish - grain 220 - finishing degree RA 0.3 - 0.4 micron.

o External parts in AISI = micro-peening with "V84" glass microspheres with final roughness 2.5-4 microns.

o External parts in carbon steel = mechanical cleaning V01 / RAL 9006 epoxy primer

o Commercial components painted with standard supplier paint


• ATEX certification: External zone 22 / Internal zone 20, including:

o Machine earthed and equipotential.

o Reels welded to the rotor shaft.

o ATEX reducer zone 22

o ATEX zone 22 rotor motor

o Rotor shaft seal temperature probes suitable for use in Zone 22
